Enrichment Programs

Enrichment

First Church Academy is proud to offer additional programs to enrich your child’s experience. All our children have access to the church’s own John P. Webster Library located on the 2nd floor of First Church. Our librarians provide a weekly story time and children have ample opportunity to explore the children’s area. Your family is welcome to come to the library anytime to explore and check out books from the collection of adult, young adult, and children’s books.

Jump Bunch Our PreK 3 and PreK 4 children participate in weekly Jump Bunch classes. Jump Bunch provides great exercise, but in a structured format that introduces a wide variety of sports, builds coordination, balance, and confidence. Jump Bunch coaches come to the Academy to provide a gentle, developmentally appropriate introduction to all types of sports.

Abrakadoodle– Our PreK 4 children participate in twice monthly enrichment art classes. Abrakadoodle is a hands-on, active discovery and exploration in our art classes for kids.  This encourages a love of art, learning and innovation! Abrakadoodle embraces “process art”, which simply means that kids learn best as they explore art materials and the creative process of taking ideas from within and bringing them into existence.
